On the first weekend in November, around 100 first-year students and their tutors set off for Torfhaus in the Harz region. During the traditional freshman trip, the students used the weekend to get to know each other, make contacts, and experience the faculty community. In addition to a group hike to the Brocken, a variety of workshops - on topics such as Linux, batik, and much more - as well as an atmospheric karaoke evening provided highlights and lots of fun.
The trip was made possible - for the second time - by the support of Swiss Life, for which the faculty is very grateful.
The trip takes place every year at the beginning of the semester and offers the new students a successful start to their studies and campus life.
